...Hey everyone, I want to ask you something.
You know that "..." thing I do in front of a lot of my sentences? That there is called an
Ellipsis, and it's a little fancy thing used a lot for literary stuff. But what I want to know is,
does it offend you?I got an anonymous question about it on Tumblr where someone pointed it out as being 'rude'.
The problem is, I don't understand how it's rude. I know there's a lot of ways to offend people, but I'm curious about this one.
But just to be clear, I only type "..." this because I give myself a pause before typing something up. (Think of the phrase. 'Think before you speak') I try my best to be respectful and not say things of the top of my head without thinking about them first. Sometimes I make mistakes, but that's normal for everybody.
But apparently I've gone and offended someone with dots.
